I expected a big city central hostel to be rather anonymous and "formal", but boy, was I wrong! The vibe in the Circus hostel was absolutely amazing, and the staff always smiling and super helpful. They offered coffee, gave advice on what to wear to different clubs, and truly walked an extra mile for the safety of the guests and their belongings. They have a special room with code lockers, also lockers in the dorm rooms, and an additional safe at the reception if needed. Downstairs there is a bar which is a great opportunity to meet other travellers. The lobby is also great to socialize and/or work on your laptop. The U-Bahn stop is just in front of the hostel, so it is easy to get anywhere in the city, but many sightseeing spots are close enough to walk to them.

The Hostel exceeded all my expectations. It was cozy, roomy and had lots of artistic interior design choices that made me feel in awe of the building itself and I wish I had more time to explore the hostel itself. The beds were very comfy, which was a big surprise to me and the bunk beds were well spread apart giving enough room. There were also separate free lockers in the basement of the building, which needs a code from the reception. The staff were very helpful and nice and the breakfast was also generous, especially with the time for late risers. The Toilettes and bathrooms are outside of the rooms (so don't forget you key card) but provided enough privacy as the showers were in different locked stalls and toilettes were separate (that was the 3rd floor).

"I had a wonderful stay at this location, perfectly situated near Alexanderplatz. It’s just two subway stops away or a short walk, making it super convenient. The area is right in the heart of Berlin, with a safe and vibrant neighborhood offering plenty of food options and shops. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with any questions. I stayed in a private room, which was a great size for a solo traveler. The room was minimalistic, clean, and thoughtfully designed. One of the highlights was the bar on the ground floor—a cozy space where you can relax and enjoy your time without the need to go out. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin!"

Loved staying in the 10 bed dorm, definitely depends on who’s in the room with you but with 10 beds you have heaps of chances to meet great people to hangout with. the staff were very nice and helpful when we asked questions, great to talk to in general. location was asp so great, lots of food places, some open until late (5am) so great for after going out, also there is a tram stop right outside the building, as well as one right around the corner so super easy to get places although my stay i didn’t go to any of the hostel events i did love that they had things going on every night, if i had one more night i 100% would’ve gone, they looked fun

I loved the location, it was perfect. Tons of great restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies, and thrift stores are just a few steps away. The staff was marvelously helpful and friendly. The hostel has a coffee shop and a small bar that allows you to be productive and have a good time on the terrace if you are working on projects. Shared spaces like showers and bathrooms were always clean. Kudos to the bartender who was so fun to chat with on my last day. You have to try the beer!
